I play a lot of house parties here and want to add a drummer to my DJ sets! Think Pretty Lights but with house music beds instead of dub. Once a week practice to get on the same page then late nights sets all year. Cheers, Hunter.

We're trying to start a band...a really good band. That is myself (jeremy kallan), mark balderston, evan allis, and joe something. Right now we have drums, saxophone, guitar, and bass and we have played together a few times. We play rock/blues/some funky stuff. Originals and covers.. Hoping to jam considerably and eventually play some shows this spring. Looking primarily for someone to play keyboard, but also anyone else interested please respond!

Currently, MMU manages a rehearsal space in the facilities building. The entrance is at the base of the smoke stack. This space has a drum kit, a bass amp, a guitar amp, and a PA with two microphones. There is also storage space for musicians to keep gear. In addition, there is a recording studio located in FIC, on the Coffrin side. The studio is equipped with a top notch drum set, as well as a computer, recording console, piano, and a plethora of different mics for recording.
Indeed there is. Currently we have a drum set, a bass amp, and a guitar amp all specifically for live use. They are stored in locker 16 in the practice room and can be signed out after getting the code from either Mike or Parker (email us at mmu@midd). We ask that you please return them by the day after your show so that another band can use them the next night. There is a sign out sheet on the door of the locker.
For the rehearsal space, first head to go/practice. Once you have gained access, use go/practiceschedule to schedule time. For the studio, first head to go/record, and use go/studioschedule to book time.
